CALL OF DUTY: VANGUARD, TEASER TRAILER ANNOUNCED AHEAD OF WARZONE
- Call of Duty: Vanguard trailer already dropped
- Installment to be announced inside Call of Duty: Warzone
- It’s a throwback to a very old war
Sledgehammer Games’ new Call of Duty installment was officially announced by means of an Activision trailer (after a whole lot of leaks, so no surprise there); the trailer is very short and is going to be revealed (for the nth time) in Warzone.

ACTIVISION LETS US PEEK AT THE NEW CALL OF DUTY AHEAD OF TIME
A few days before the special event inside Call of Duty: Warzone, Activision let us have it… the teaser, that is (an appropriate wordplay since Activision is already on the line with a sexual harassment suit.) They have officially announced the Call of Duty: Vanguard game and told us it will be revealed in Warzone, which is the series’ take on a free-to-play battle royale shooter.
The first look at this series installment is going to take place during a special event inside Call of Duty: Warzone, namely the “Battle of Verdansk.” This is going to take place this upcoming August 19th.
CALL OF DUTY: VANGUARD SET IN WORLD WAR II
According to the first trailer for Call of Duty: Vanguard, it opens up with a setup of battlefields revolving around World War II (so it’s apparently an old war, but not a cold war.) Battlefields range from Russian, to desert, to German, together with aircraft corpses on a beach; this seems to imply the four World War II fronts are going to be touched and they flash you (mind you, no sexual intent here, even if its Activision) with faces in the landscape, or city names thrown about which are clues on characters and places. It seems rather possible that the character faces belong to the same ones in the game’s official art, seen at the tail of the trailer.
Activision and developer Sledgehammer Games are apparently set to announce more intel about the game on August 19th at 1:30 p.m. ET inside of Warzone. If things go as they always do in previous events, it would be a pretty wise move to log in way ahead of the scheduled start to make sure you grab a place. In any case, Activision is bound to leak…er…provide more intel as Thursday draws near.
HOSTILE ACTION ON THE WARFRONT?
All these “reveal parties” are happening amidst a Department of Fair Employment and Housing’s lawsuit maintaining Activision Blizzard is a toxic workplace hostile to women, where it pays them less, lets them be subjected to sexual harassment, and does not punish the perps as they should. It’s like they’re in their very own hostile warzone right now…
