QUINCY CREW AND CR4ZY ON SHORT LIST FOR ESL ONE THAILAND 2020 ONLINE DIRECT INVITES
So now that Evil Geniuses ran away to Europe to play, they left the region’s top Dota 2 team for ESL One Thailand 2020 Online orphaned and waiting. The Americas are now full of the usual dudes, plus monkeys-forever and 4 Zoomers, and minus Evil Geniuses; the list of other teams that received direct invites, including the 2 added to the Closed Qualifier short list, are Beastcoast, business associates, 4 Zoomers, Thunder Predator, Infamous, and Plasma Vitaplur Gum.
The first direct invites were headlined, of course, by Quincy Crew and CR4ZY for the North American representation. Quincy Crew have been on a roll by hoarding victory after victory in their last three events. Two of those events even had Evil Geniuses competing, so yeah, they had to be on the short list. There will be eight teams having it out for their share of $65,000.
The open qualifiers are slated to kick off on July 28th, and the main event is set to run from August 8 to 20.
