EUROPEAN SOCCER CLUBS TO COMPETE IN FIFA 20 TOURNAMENT
Ever since the coronavirus global spread, people are getting antsy in their pantsy, especially the sports world. No soccer, basketball, football, nothing going on and for what could be a pretty long ride, so guess what they came up with to avoid the dudes crawling up walls? Yes, a FIFA 20 tournament called #UltimateQuaranTeam. (Nice name, though.) English soccer club Leyton Orient recruited 128 terribly bored teams from around the world and saved their arses from losing their minds; they can now compete in that FIFA 20 tournament so they can feel they’re back to some kind of normal, whatever that means for these guys. I’m wondering wtf is “normal” for a soccer pro player?

Well, apparently CoronaV had the soccer clubs in Europe playing Connect 4 against each other; I mean, damn, it’s a game given out as a freebie on long flights! It’s just good for 20 minutes. Plus, they were getting it on using Twitter. (SMH) No wonder Leyton Orient smashed their brains against the wall to come up with a tournament, to give them back the ‘normal’ they needed! Still wondering btw…
Orient’s Twitter account announced the creation of the Ultimate QuaranTeam invitational, and the clubs were allowed to join if they were represented on FIFA 20. It got so popular Orient doubled the pool from 64 teams to 128, which is a lot of brain-saving. The draw for the first round will be March 18, 2020. BTW, the reason for the online soccer season is not only to avoid going nuts, but also to save up some cash for the soccer clubs barely making it before the pandemic. Nice guys…
