BECAUSE OF THE FANS… & MONEY TOO!

The folks at Riot all agree that Valorant deserves a piece of the esports action cake. According to Whalen Rozelle, Senior Director of Esports, Valorant possesses all the characteristics required of a successful esports franchise: “Valorant is a deeply competitive title with global appeal and the necessary elements to become the next premier sport.

But merit-based reasonings aside, it makes perfect sense that Riot would like to turn their Valorant brand into a massive money-making esports machine, with teams fighting it off all around the globe for juicy prize pots. “Esports remains one of the best investments we can make to support our community,” said Valorant Exec Anna Dunlon – “There is huge demand and hunger for Valorant to be played at a professional level, and we’re so excited to be starting that journey with fans, players and organizations.”
