-The Overwatch community will celebrate a new anniversary with a special event starting May 18th.
-New skins, voice lines and other gimmicks will also be introduced during the event.

It’s been a full 5 years of kick-ass Overwatch action, loaded up with some of the finest moments of recorded esports history, and it is because of THIS very reason that the folks at Blizzard recently put out their trailer vid for the upcoming Overwatch Anniversary event.
The event was scheduled a little earlier in the year this time, specifically between the days of May 18th (aka TOMORROW Tuesday), and June 8th, so that’s a sizable two weeks and some days of fun and parties. Then, there’s the added benefit of the many tidbits that come attached to its cosmetics bundle, including legendary skins, hero voice lines, sprays, and tons of other cool stuff.

“Party On the Payload”
A brief trailer released just last weekend shed some light on the “contents” of the Overwatch Anniversary event, more noticeably, it featured the skin of hyped new healer, and 70’s music lover “Disco Baptiste,” coming along with a larger cosmetics bundle.
The event’s special package will include a total of 20 hero skins, some unique voice pieces, as well as sprays and a few other gimmicks.
