RETURNING TEAM LIQUID’S STARLEAGUE 5 HAS SECRETLAB AS SPONSOR

Since the Team Liquid StarLeague 5 (TSL 5) is returning after hitting the pause button for 8 years, Secretlab will be returning as its sponsor.

Initiated in 2008 by Team Liquid for StarCraft: Brood War, the last event was held in 2012. The upcoming TSL 5 will be running from May 16-June7, and Secretlab will be their sponsors, right up there with Shopify, Twitch (unsurprisingly), and Ting to provide support for the StarCraft II (SC2) community through the TSL. For starters and as part of the deal between them, Secretlab and Team Liquid are going to be hosting an event where the winner will get a partnership gift in the form of a Secretlab-Team Liquid Special Edition gaming chair (better be f*cking awesome, just sayin’.) The winner of this special edition gift will be announced during the final weekend of the TSL 5 event; in other words, June 6th-7th.

The total prize pool for the tournament, contest, event, whatever you want to call it, is $30 thousand USD; it will showcase talent such as Kevin “RotterdaM” van der Kooi, Jonathon “Wardi” Ward, and Jessica “ZombieGrub” Chernega. Also making an appearance as a special guest is with Sean “Day[9]” Plott which can be cool or not, depending on whom you love to hate.
