SHOCK BECOMES FIRST TEAM TO WIN TWO CONSECUTIVE OWL CHAMPIONSHIPS
After beating first-time finalists Seoul Dynasty in a 4-2 series, San Francisco Shock set up a whole new record and became the Overwatch League’s 2020-season champion.
The West-Coast defeated the South Koreans at their very own home turf early on Saturday, earning new bragging rights as the first Overwatch League team to win two consecutive League championships.

Rise and Then, Fall Again!
After enduring a quarantine period imposed upon their arrival on South Korean lands, the Shock went on to beat the Dynasty in the early bracket, pushing them to the losers group. Dynasty then rose up from the ashes, cutting through Fusion and the Dragons to make it to the Grand Final game against, who else… of course, San Francisco. #DramaticDrumRoll
Unfortunately, the home team’s Cinderella story was about to end, as the North American squad doubled their series score (4-2) to take home the OWL 2020 trophy.
San Francisco is now $1.5 Million richer while Seol gets to keep a good $750,000 prize as dignified reward for winning second place. Pretty Good deal for both teams in MY opinion!
