Fortnite-Season-4

FORTNITE CHAPTER 2, SEASON 4: OVERDOSE OF MARVEL HEROES?

Ok. Please don’t hate us, but… coming from an actual Marvel Comics fan, who spent his teenage years in the 90s picking up the latest issue of X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spiderman and many others I won’t mention because I don’t want people thinking I was a bigger dork than I actually was (which I totally was), maybe it’s time for Marvel to take a break… just a tiny little break, and it seems, I might not be the only fan who could use the off time, specially off Fortnite’s island.

Take it Easy Spidey, Many DO love it!

In all fairness, the Marvel Universe craziness has been one of the most amazing media mega-events ever. The love and loyalty expressed by the legions of adoring fans cannot be put into question, and it manifests yet again in the Hero-filled newer season of Epic’s uber successful Fortnite.

Titled “The Nexus War”, this most-recent chapter in the Fortnite drama tells of a classic Marvel storyline: Galactus has arrived to the Fortnite universe in the hopes of eating up all the energy of Apollo’s Island. Naturally, the legendary heroes of the Marvel multiverse have teamed up to screw up with his plans: Thor, Iron Man, Wolverine, Groot, She-Hulk, Storm, Mystique and the treacherous Dr. Doom are all present, with fresh new skins for the season’s battle pass. Players will also notice other changes to the map, including a new domain for Doom, a cemetary of Sentinels and a hovering carrier somewhere off the island’s coast.

Funsies aside, it appears the fandom aren’t all feeling so excited about the longest running season thus far, and are crossing their fingers it ends sooner than expected. According to Hypex, the season is to be wrapping up sometime around the 30th of November, 2020, which far expands on the length of any previous Fortnite season. We will know how it ends up rolling as time passes by.
