The first day of the Group Stage of the League of Legends 2020 World Championship went about mostly relaxed with very few surprises, with one single exception in the very tight game between Fnatic and Team SoloMid, who kept us on our toes during the entire duration of the game and left us with fond memories of esports mastery.

Group Stage Particulars
-The Group stage will consist of a double round-robin competition between the 16 teams distributed into 4 groups (approx. 2 weeks in length.)
-Twelve teams were seeded via Regionals, the remaining four earned their entry through Play-In matches.
-The two best ranking teams of each group will then move on the Knockout stage (Oct 15th.)
