LGD GAMING BECOMES WORLD’S CINDERELLA IN EARLY GROUP STAGE

Interesting stories are already beginning to develop at this year’s edition of the League of Legends World Championship. Chinese LGD Gaming beat all pre-tournament odds and dug its way out of the play-In gutter to rise to the top of Group C as part of a crowded points tie with Fnatic and Gen.G.

After having scarcely survived the play-in qualifiers stage prior to the championship, LGD earned their continuation in the competition with a win over TSM earlier today. The Chinese squad had it tough during the early part of the match but later regained momentum, thanks to strong teamwork and Xiye’s invaluable contributions.

LGD Gaming is now matched to 2 points in Group C next to Fnatic and Gen.G, meanwhile, TSM’s career at the Worlds appears almost at an end:
