LGD Takes Down Invictus Gaming In Summer Split
LGD beat Invictus Gaming 2-1 in week 4 of the 2020 LPL Summer Split, thus climbing the LPL standings ladder closer to the top.
LGD had lost their previous game against Invictus Gaming at the Spring Split, also 2-1, and this was poetic revenge. They had looked a little faded at the Spring Split with their 15th place and all, but the Summer Split is doing them good! You can catch all these Splits by streaming them from LevelUp.bet, by the way.

So, all in all, it was Peanuts who shut down Invictus Gaming’s solo laners; since the whole series was all about Invictus Gaming’s mid laner Rookie, LGD targeted all 5 bans towards him in the first game. In the second game, they made 4 midlane bans, and for execution, top-dog jungler Peanuts shut down not only Rookie but also TheShy, solo laners for Invictus Gaming.
But it wasn’t all that easy peasy for LGD: Invictus took the second game in spite of Peanuts’ hardcore ganks in the solo lanes; the last game was also a close call, but Invictus couldn’t make it. They’ll be facing off against FunPlus Phoenix this upcoming Thursday, June 25th.
