MSI 2021 RUMBLE STAGE: C9 & PENTANET ON THE WAY OUT; DWG & RNG REIGN SUPREME

-MSI 2021’s Rumble Stage is nearly done for, with tons of success for pre-favorites DWA & Royal Never Give Up.

-Luck hasn’t been on the side of Cloud9 and Pentanet.

What did the latest phase of the Rumble Stage with it bring?

Not many surprises, to be perfectly honest.

DWG KIA and Royal Never Give Up did away with the competition quite easily, and poor overall performances were the common denominator for Pentanet.GG and Cloud 9, though PSG Talon didn’t fall short from getting their own mention in our  “shame list.”

But, it ain’t over yet!

The last day of Rumble is right upon us (tomorrow, May 18th, in the SUPER EARLY morning hours, to be more exact), and it will feature a series of interesting head-to-heads between the top teams, as well as some desperate, last attempts at redemption by the bottom-line squads. You already know who they are…

MSI 2021: QUICK SUMMARY; STANDINGS & BETTING ODDS

So, just as we mentioned above, the last few days of the Mid-season Invitational 2021 were plenty splattered with victories for everyone’s favorites (namely DWG & RNG, duh), while PSG Talon, Pentanet.GG and Cloud9 all faltered at keeping some semblance at a well-planted strategy for the competition, and it’s cost them a lot: As we stand, Cloud & Penta are already virtually discarded as competitors in the upcoming Knockout Stage, scheduled to commence in earnest on May 21st

And just to put things into something of an orderly frame, check out below the charts with the current standings, Monday’s results, and some of the betting odds already out for the upcoming matches, all courtesy of LevelUp.bet….   HOT PICKS IN BOLD 😉

*Odds are subject to change.

Before you go on and put your own bid on the next matches, keep in mind that only 4 teams will advance on to the KO stage, which will see some important changes to the ongoing format.

Unlike the preceding Group and now-ending Rumble stages, that ran along a Double-Round robin of Bo1s , the Knockout stage will be played out as a Bo5, single-elimination bracket. At the end of said phase, the no. 1 team will then choose either third or fourth place for a final showdown.
