RIFT RIVALS CAST OUT OF THE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CIRCUIT
Now, it’s not that hard to imagine why “stupid is as stupid does” and Riot Games is one step away from getting crowned for taking down Rift Rivals from the LOL competitive circuit.
Not only that, but Riot Games has also pushed back the 2020 Mid-Season Invitational, all the way to July, because they chickened out to the coronavirus (yeap! one more to the list!). Just so you know, that’s one of the reasons the Rift Rivals is getting its ass kicked. BTW, this means Summer Splits in leagues worldwide will start earlier to accommodate this mess, and it seems the Riot Games ass-wipes also “thought” (lemme use that word loosely) it was a good plan to kick Rift Rivals, not only now but for GOOD.
“Additionally, after reviewing the calendar and listening to feedback
from our teams and players, we have decided to sunset Rift Rivals in the
remaining regions where the tournament was scheduled to take place,” said Head Ass-Wipe of LoL Esports John Needham in an official announcement (Yes, we
are mad!).
“Rift Rivals produced some epic battles, but the challenges it created
to the annual schedule were felt at both a regional and global level. We remain committed to producing globally resonant events that showcase our sport, and will work with regions to determine fresh ways to do so in the years ahead.”
With Rift Rivals officially given the vault, and very probably with nothing on their minds to make up for it all we get to know is that Rift Rivals has left the building. Clap! Clap! Thanks a lot! (Insert here Sheldon’s SARCASM sign).

What? A new mystery skin shard? Are there no more brains left in Twitch and Riot games to tell them which are actually GOOD freebies? Plus, they had to team up for the brain-freeze of coming up with a new skin shard. Damn!
