RIOT PRANKS WITH FAKE NEW CHAMPION PINGU
It can’t even be a real April 1st without the prank, and Riot planned an elaborate one to put one over the fans: it revealed “new League champion” Pingu, with abilities and stuff, even a page.
It’s a Freljordian penguin called “The Guide” who “leaves behind a trail of destruction” according to Riot. They went as far as to give him an official Champion Reveal page and design bad-ass abilities for the penguin with accompanying videos. Initially, on Reddit, the new champion was rumored to be named Aidyn, but all in all, it was just a jest.

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS, TFT AND RUNETERRA ARE DOWN AGAIN
Riot’s servers appear to be down again, and they are starving Europe and North America, where the fandom can’t even log into, much less play, League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics.
While some fail to get into anything Riot, some can’t load launchers when clicked on. Still some who are already signed in are getting stuck in lobbies or on logging-in screens. No statement has been issued by Riot Games, yet, so yeah, we’re all clueless when the three games will be up again. Damn, it’s a fckn bad time to be down, especially with the corona raging on outside and the quarantine inside.
Most of the issues apparently point to a log-in problem because of the humongous amounts of lag, but y’all gotta wait it out until Riot gives you the fix. Sometime before the quarantine is over, would be nice, huh?
