SONY EXPECTS PS5 LAUNCH TO GO AHEAD WITHOUT PROBLEMS

True, we’re all shaken with the COVID-19 pandemic, and with stuff suddenly going the wrong way and leaving us blinking; still, Sony is pretty confident it’s PlayStation 5 should be just fine and coming out this holiday season. FINALLY, some good news… because we needed SOME with this ongoing apocalypse.

This comes after many gamers thought the pandemic would delay the console’s release this holiday season, but Sony isn’t taking it lying down and wants their next-generation PlayStation 5 on-schedule. Said Bloomberg’s Takashi Mochizuki, “A Sony spokeswoman said it doesn’t see any notable impact on the launch of its next-generation game console PlayStation 5 planned at the end of this year.

The pandemic has hit Sony hard enough so that the company had to re-check-and-check again their financial forecast for this year –and Microsoft might finish them up with a 5-hit combo… but that’s a story for another time; their decline in stock market shares was of about 10 percent. Still, they insist their PS5 will be “all fired up and ready to go” later this year. Cool.
