SONY PROMO MATERIAL SNEAKS A PEAK AT A RED AND BLACK PS5

Without a doubt, Sony is officially gonna go with the white/black look for the much-awaited PlayStation 5, but it seems to have slipped in a promotional poster with a tease on what the upcoming console would look like in a red and black combo.

The image with the tease, which was posted to the message board ResetEra, comes from a promotional poster received by a store that sells Sony Xperia phones. But the person from the store said they got this poster to “try and incentivize us” to sell more Sony Xperia phones. Phones is the keyword here, guys. The user says the promo is directed towards selling phones, and even believes the color was edited on the PlayStation 5 just to match the other products in the image. Ok. Treason, I say.

So with the image being just for phone sales promotion, plus the fact there are probably not gonna be any limited-edition consoles with special color schemes with the console about to come out in the holiday season, we might as well forget about it. Take it just as you would a unicorn filter in your chat: you know you saw it, but you can’t prove it.
