YET ANOTHER INVESTOR LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST CD PROJEKT

A new day, a new lawsuit for the developers at CD Projekt!

Super-successful action/role playing title Cyberpunk 2077 is making the headlines again, this time due to investors filing a brand-new lawsuit in California, alleging about the exact same things as the suit filed in New York during the last few days of 2020.

Namely, the novel legal claims state that the people at CD Projekt had misinformed and or/misled the investors in regards to the development and readiness of the Cyberpunk 2077 version on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Second Lawsuit Filed Against CD Projekt

Gaming media networks broke the news yesterday that another lawsuit had been filed, this time in the Central District of California, against -of course- Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt. The new suit is, however, not all that different from the first one, previously filed by Rosen law firm in New York, stating that said CDP developers had “misled” game investors about the actual state of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 first-release iterations of the popular psi-fi game.

Meanwhile, the people at CD Projekt have responded to the accusations in the EXACT SAME WAY as before. According to recent statements by the developers, CDP is planning on “undertaking rigorous action to defend itself against any such claims.” No further comments!

Cyberpunk 2077 was prone to controversy since way before its actual release. The developers had been forced to push the original release date of the game twice before it finally saw the light of day by the end of last year, and ever since then, social media -as well as customer service hotlines- received endless complaints about the title’s very poor performance in previous generation consoles, generating added controversy in regards to return policies or insufficient compensation for the aggravated gamers.

In spite of it all, the CDP role-playing game has been a super smash, topping sales in all those game merchants that haven’t deleted the title from its collection; the official PlayStation online store has already moved to delete the title from its repertoire.

We couldn’t find any additional details in regards to the monetary compensation sought by the investors from CD Projekt, but we’ll make sure to keep an eye out for any figure updates coming up.
